About the Artist

Hi, I’m Catherine Husek a U.S. based acrylic and oil painter inspired by the joy and beauty of the natural world. I love using bright colors, expressive brushstrokes, and playful shapes to capture the energy, emotion, and nostalgia of life around us.

My work draws from the things that make me happiest: blooming florals, the calm of the coast, the vibrancy of New York City, and the companionship of pets. Each painting is a love letter to nature and to life’s simple pleasures, moments that spark happiness, connection, and memory. Creating brings me deep joy, and I hope my art brings a little of that same warmth and wonder to others.
