Hi, I’m Catherine

A painter from suburban New Jersey, where I live with my husband of over 28 years, and 2 of our 3 adult children in various stages of independence. Mom to 3 adorable pets (2 cats & 1 dogs) who are often featured on my instagram. Since a very young age, I have been drawn to create, and although my “formal “ training only consists of a minor in studio art, I have been painting and selling my art for over 4 years. First my work primarily consisted of commissioned Pet Portraits, but has grown to include, florals, landscapes and seascapes. Heavily influenced by the coast, my work is often inspired by memories of time spent in coastal New England and vacations in North Carolina. I like creating both abstract pieces as well as more representational works, and I endeavor to use bold colors, active brushwork and strong shapes to express joy and energy in my work.
